It’s so easy to get caught up in life and routines, then before we know it, we hit the bottom. But there are so many simple things you can do to improve the quality of your life. So, I’ve made this list of 10 simple things that you can do today, to keep you feeling happy and fulfilled. Sometimes the smallest and simplest of things can improve your quality of life. Try to do at least one of these right now (if not more). You will thank me later!
1. Drink Water
And drink lots of it! I try to aim for at least 3 liters of water a day to feel my best. When I meet this goal I feel incredible. You have no idea how much something so simple such as staying hydrated will affect your life in a positive way. Tip: carry around a reusable water bottle to remind you to drink more water.

2. Go on a Walk Outside
The fresh air will do you good and will help you gain a more positive perspective for your day. Plus the gentle work out, and increased blood circulation will leave you feeling amazing. Whenever I am feeling stressed, tired, or bored I take a 30-minute break and go for a brisk walk outside. The sunshine and fresh air help give me a new perspective, brings energy and helps me to clear my mind.
3. Take a Bath
Treat yourself with a bath to relax and unwind from the day. I love to add Epsom salts and some lavender essential oil to the water to stay stress-free and detoxified. One of my favorite ways to give myself a little self-love and care is by taking a bath. These 20 minutes to myself are so peaceful and leave me feeling mentally clear.

4. Read Instead of TV
These days we watch a ton of TV, which is sometimes nice and relaxing, but often times mindless and lazy. Switch out your daily TV routine with a good book to get your brain stimulated. Page by page, you will feel refreshed.
5. Eat Plant-Based and Organic
By filling your body with nutrient-rich, natural and organic plant foods, you will see so many benefits to your daily life, so quickly. These vibrant, healthy, and simple plant foods our body was made to eat will leave you with more energy, glowing skin, a sharp alert mind, and you will feel so much healthier overall. Being mindful over your food choices makes an incredible difference.
6. Gratitude List
Write a gratitude list of everything you are grateful for in your life. When I do this, it really helps me appreciate my life, and the people + opportunities I’ve been blessed with. Sometimes you just need a little reminder to notice the amazing quality of your life.
7. Help Someone Else
Helping other people actually helps to improve your own self-esteem, self-confidence, well-being, and happiness. Whether it’s helping someone put their groceries in their car, or volunteering, helping others will make you feel better as an individual.
8. Do That One Thing You’ve Been Putting Off
We all have that one thing that we’ve been dreading to do-cleaning out your closet, making that phone call, whatever it is that you’ve been putting off, do it today. Seriously. You will feel amazing once it’s done.
9. Give Something Away
Give to charity, give a gift to a friend, donate some of your clothes that you don’t need- giving away actually makes you happier and gives you pleasure, plus you will feel so much lighter afterward.
10. Get a Good Night of Sleep
This one is so easy to do, but many of us overlook how important sleep actually is. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep nightly to improve the quality of your life.
