Sun gazing is something so simple to do and has a surprising amount of benefits. Looking at the sun daily (in a safe way) can increase the production of melatonin and serotonin (the feel good chemical), reduces stress, and increases energy. Touch: Hug a Friend
Hug someone you genuinely care about- your friend, boyfriend or girlfriend, mom or dad. Hugging a friend actually makes you healthier and happier. It reduces stress, increases your immune system, eases depression and releases oxytocin (the “love” chemical in your brain). So get hugging!
Peppermint essential oil is the perfect remedy to uplift your mood, and stimulate your mind. It’s also great for headaches. The next time your feeling tired and not on your game, rub some peppermint oil on your temples and put a small dab on your nose, and feel the invigoration run through your body.
Raw cacao has so many benefits, and is an amazing superfood that actually tastes good. Chocolate sends endorphin’s to your brain (the happy chemicals your body naturally produces) and raw cacao is the most pure and unprocessed form, so it contains all the nutrients your body wants. Add a heaping scoop to your smoothie in the morning to literally feel happier. (It’s also great for your skin and heart too!)
